Back when I was an undergrad, the lecturer who taught Philosophy of Knowledge used coots and moorhens to illustrate all his basic points. You think you know which is which - but what if you're wrong? What if you're right, but only by chance? How do you know that you know this one's a coot, rather than a moorhen?
(fyi - it's a coot.)
